UNFINISHED: YOUR STORY ISN’T OVER YET

When Jesus ate breakfast with Peter and the other disciples on the shore of the Sea of Tiberias after the resurrection, this fisherman was not the same man Jesus had encountered three years earlier when he was mending nets. Matthew was no longer the same man Jesus met at the tax booth. Each of the disciples had a life-transforming experience as they walked with Jesus.

Even then — after three years of walking with Jesus — their story wasn’t over yet. God continued to work in their lives — refining them. The Scriptures are filled with stories of men and women who had an encounter with God and were changed forever. Those men and women could never have predicted all that God would do in their lives.

YOUR STORY ISN’T OVER YET.

At the 2021 national conference we introduced an interactive prayer experience that has blessed hundreds of people. It is a reminder that we are unfinished — that there is more to our story yet to be written.

The video suggests some materials you might want to have on hand to make the experience even more meaningful. Materials suggested are a small rusty cross, a vial of oil, sandpaper, a buffing cloth, and a journal.

You can watch the video without the materials, but the materials will enhance your experience. Consider watching it once and then watch it the second time with the materials. Consider ordering materials for your small group and inviting them to take the journey with you. Then spend some time processing the experience together. It is a rich journey that you will not regret taking.
